Heavey Ends Hydrotreatment Unit

In the Borzouyeh Petrochemical Company (BPC) existing Aromatic complex (4th Aromatic Plant), the Gas Condensate Prefractionation Process Unit (unit 200), prepares the feed to aromatic Plant removing Light and producing a Heavy Ends cut. BPC has the project to build a new Hydrotreatment Unit on their heavy-end cut (Unit 270). The purpose of the unit is to improve the quality of a blend of Heavy Ends from Unit 200 and Unit 100 (Pygas Unit), and Heavy Ends Condensate from storage, by reducing the impurities and unsaturated products content such as Sulfur, Aromatic or Olefins. The main objectives of the Heavy Ends Hydrotreating Unit are: •To produce a Hydrotreated Heavy Ends cut with a below 10wtppm sulphur content at stripper bottom. The design capacity of the Distillate Hydrotreating Unit is 2021 kTPA, based on a stream factor of 8000 hours of operation per year with a turndown ratio of 50%.
